Storchenturm in Weil der Stadt
Kibri B-8474 (Set B-8480) | February 2025 | A gift from my dealer
1.1 ~ Preview
For sharing one of my pictures of the KM1 Württemberg C to be put on his company car, my dealer gave me this Kibri Kit as a down payment.
It brought me back to the days that I made these kit as a youth while running trains on my dad's layout. You can see them in the background.

There are still examples on the Cochemer Bahn, which I made before...

1.3.1 ~ Painting
It's always a treat to put your pen on a blank sheet of paper and write the first words of a beautiful story.
The same goes for the beginning of a new model... that moment when you dip the brush in the paint and already know more or less how it's going to look.
Although... that last one is always the question, when along the way certain insights into color combinations reveal themselves.

Although the wall sections including windows consist of one piece, I opted for black windows, while providing the white fields with an ivory white layer.
