Abyss
About the Front Section of the Lustgarten
(September 2024 - February 2025)
27.9.2024 ~ an abyss was digitally created to get the idea...
The front of the Lustgarten is a rather complex story.
The base plate must still be able to be lifted, but I do not want to see a transition seam.
I used cling film to avoid getting glue on the base plate, but this allows the mountain mannassive to form itself to it.

Just an idea, but... no repetition!
Let's see how we can fix a nice transition...

27.1.2025 | The disturbing white layer of polystyrene down under made me decide to apply a third layer at the bottom.
30.1.2025 | pretty keen, if I may say so: support from below. How else?

31.1.2025 | Meanwhile, vegetation was added to the side.

And then an idea popped up : why not make a smal miniature in the front to break the uniformity of the abyss? Even if I didn't know at the time what would come out of it!
Intermission...
Can't say too much how I love this view!

... but let's get on with it!
