Cochemer Burg (1/14)

In the 1980's I purchased a model kit of the Austrian castle 'Falkenstein' (Kibri 9010).

It was previously integrated in the mountainous area on my dad's layout, seen at the next 2 pictures.

After my dad past away in 2006, I replaced it on my own layout.

I had the courage to cut the whole thing in two parts. 

As you can see, the tower is removed from its spot.

Now, the entrance, originally situated at the back side, is as new front at the side of the main building.

I created a new, lower tower instead of using the original one, since the latter was out of balance because of its height.
