1.1 ~ D e s i g n  a n d  C o n s t r u c t i o n

As I have some train compositions in my collection that deserve to be presented in a decent and fashionable way, in 2019 I started planning a new display.

I felt the urge of making a showcase which should contain both a lengthy diorama for presenting long trains in full grandeur (down level),

and enough room for static presentations of single locomotives or train compositions (top level).

20.4.2019 -  two 'rails' of beech wood with cuts of 5 mm hold the 4 mm glass panels

The upper compartment is meant for static trains, whereas the lower will contain the Rheinstrecke Display 

21.9.2019

The Train Display in the upper compartment was finished in 2019.

Now it's time for the Rheinstrecke!

We write the year 2023...
